Who we are
Text & Digit Tools is the software imprint of Wydawnictwo Biblioteka, a Polish publishing house. The tools we build come out of production typesetting work – each one started as a job that took too long by hand, in books that had to be right.
We build for a narrow audience on purpose: editors, typesetters and production staff who work in long documents every day, and who need a search that understands typography rather than just characters.
What we make
Columns
A panel for Adobe InDesign that reads, designs and repeatedly applies table column widths. Set widths by hand or let the remaining space divide itself, keep the total inside the text frame or a limit you choose, and save a set of widths as a reusable table type.
Columns runs entirely on your own machine. It requests no permissions at all – no network, no file access, no clipboard – so nothing it reads can leave your computer.
