Support

Support for our plugins is provided by the people who write them. There is no ticket system and no first line – your message goes straight to the developer.

Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis. We do not guarantee a response time or undertake a service level, but messages are read and answered by the person who wrote the software. We can correspond in English or Polish.

Before writing

Two things answer most questions faster than we can:

  • The documentation covers installation, requirements, a first session, and the known limitations – the behaviours that are deliberate rather than broken.
  • The panel's own Instructions tab is the complete reference, and it ships with the exact version you are running, so it always describes your build.

If what you are seeing appears under Known limitations, it is expected behaviour and the documentation explains how to work around it.

Reporting a problem

Please include:

  1. Your InDesign version – from About InDesign, including the exact build number.
  2. Your operating system and its version.
  3. Your plugin version – from the About tab in the panel.
  4. What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  5. The steps that produce it, in enough detail that we can repeat them.
  6. The state of the panel – for Columns, the number of columns, which were set to Auto, the active unit, whether a width limit or a table type was in use, and anything the information bar was reporting.

A screenshot of the panel with the values visible is often faster than describing them.

If the problem depends on a particular table, tell us what is distinctive about it – how many columns, whether it sits in a nested table, whether it overflows its frame. Please do not send confidential client files. We can almost always reproduce a problem from a description, or from a small document made for the purpose.

Feature requests

We read them all, and several of our plugins' capabilities began as somebody else's frustration. Tell us what you were trying to do and why the current behaviour gets in the way – that is more useful to us than a proposed solution.

Purchases and billing

Our plugins are distributed through the Adobe marketplace, and payment is handled there rather than by us. For anything to do with a charge or an order, start with Adobe. If you are not sure who to ask, write to us anyway and we will point you in the right direction.
