Text & Digit Tools – End-User Licence Agreement
Version 1.0 – Effective 9 August 2026
The Polish-language version of this Agreement is the legally governing text. This English version is an official translation provided for convenience; in the event of a conflict, the Polish version prevails.
1. Licensor and products
The licensor of the software published under the Text & Digit Tools brand is:
Wydawnictwo Biblioteka Mateusz Poradecki
ul. Dworska 17
95-070 Rąbień
Poland
This Agreement governs your use of any Text & Digit Tools plugin you have licensed (the "Software"). Terms specific to an individual product are set out in the Schedule for that product at the end of this Agreement. Where a Schedule conflicts with the general terms, the Schedule prevails for that product.
Adobe and InDesign are trademarks of Adobe Inc. Text & Digit Tools products are independent products and are not sponsored, endorsed, or supported by Adobe Inc.
2. Acceptance
By installing, activating, or using the Software you confirm that you have read this Agreement and accept its terms. If you do not accept these terms, do not install or use the Software.
3. Licence grant
Upon valid purchase, the Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software as one named user, on any machines that you personally work on.
The licence is granted to a person, not to a device. It does not permit two people to work with the Software under one licence, whether simultaneously or in turn.
4. Ownership
The licence is not a sale of the Software and transfers no copyright, source code, methods of operation, documentation, or other intellectual property rights. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the Licensor.
5. Permitted use
You may:
- install and use the Software within the scope of the licence you have purchased;
- make a backup or installation copy for your own use;
- use the results of the Software's operation in private and commercial work, with no further licence, royalty, or attribution owed to the Licensor.
6. Restrictions
Without the Licensor's prior written consent you may not:
- share the licence with, or make it usable by, another person;
- resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software;
- copy the Software beyond what this Agreement expressly permits;
- attempt to derive source code, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or circumvent technical protections, except to the extent such acts are expressly permitted by mandatory applicable law, including the interoperability provisions of EU Directive 2009/24/EC;
- remove or alter copyright, brand, or licence notices;
- use the Software unlawfully.
7. Updates and compatibility
Updates published to a product's marketplace listing are made available to existing licensees at no additional charge.
The Software is built for specific versions of Adobe InDesign and the UXP environment. Changes made by Adobe, by your operating system, or by other software may affect compatibility and operation.
8. Support
Support is provided by email at support@textanddigit.com on a reasonable-effort basis. No response time is guaranteed and no service level is undertaken.
9. Your data
The Software stores its settings and any data you create with it locally on your machine. What each product stores, and whether it transmits anything, is stated in that product's Schedule.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own documents and data.
10. Your responsibility when using the Software
The Software modifies your documents. Before operations affecting many items you should save your document and hold a current backup. You are responsible for checking the criteria you set, any preview offered, and the results of each operation.
11. Conformity with the contract and limitation of liability
The Software is supplied as described in its product description and documentation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor is not liable for damage arising from use of the Software contrary to its documentation, from absence of backups, from changes made by third-party software, or from incompatible updates to other software.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits any right of a consumer – or of a sole trader entitled to consumer protections under Polish law – or any liability, that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory applicable law. Where you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this Agreement.
12. Purchase, payment, and refunds
Text & Digit Tools products are sold through the Adobe marketplace. Payment is processed by FastSpring, which acts as merchant of record for the transaction – your purchase contract for payment purposes is with FastSpring, not with the Licensor.
Refunds, withdrawal rights, and billing enquiries are handled under Adobe's and FastSpring's terms, which apply to your purchase. Please raise them there. Any statutory right of withdrawal you hold as a consumer applies as provided by law, and this Agreement neither extends nor restricts it.
13. Term and termination
The licence continues until terminated. It terminates if you materially breach this Agreement, and on termination you must stop using the Software and delete your copies.
Termination of this licence does not affect your rights against Adobe or FastSpring in respect of the purchase itself.
14. Governing law, jurisdiction, and language
This Agreement is governed by Polish law. Where you are a consumer resident in another country, you additionally retain the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence, and this clause does not deprive you of them.
The Polish-language version of this Agreement is the governing text. Translations, including this English version, are provided for convenience.
15. Changes to this Agreement
The Licensor may issue an updated version of this Agreement for future releases and future purchases. The version accompanying the Software at the time of your purchase continues to govern your licence, except where a change is required by law.
The current version is published at textanddigit.com/legal/terms/. The copy embedded in the Software carries a version number and effective date so it can be compared against the published copy; where they differ, the published copy is the more recent.
16. Final provisions
If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in force to the extent permitted by law.
This Agreement, together with the applicable Schedule and the Privacy Notice published at textanddigit.com/legal/privacy/, is the entire agreement between you and the Licensor concerning the Software.
